How do I book travel to Palace Resorts with SunandSalsa.com?

EASY! Give us a call at 352-687-0333 or send an email to info@sunandsalsa.com.  Let us know what resort you are interested in, dates you want to arrive and depart, how many adults, couples, how many children, ages of adults and children, and type of room you want. We will price it out for you based on our discount member rates. If you want to proceed we will check with Palace Resorts for availability and book a reservation in your name. Once booked, Palace will expect full payment within 48 hours or they will release the reservation if not paid. Once paid, Palace emails us the confirmed reservation and we forward it to you. We then ask that you forward to us your flight itinerary so we can arrange your free airport transfers.

What are airport transfers?

Typically, the resorts do not provide free transportation from/to the airports since they very often will be considerable distance away. Sometimes they will include it as part of a promotional offer. When you book with SunandSalsa.com you will always get FREE shared transportation from the airports to the resorts and back. That means other travelers may be riding in the same vehicle to/from the resort with you. Private transportation can be arranged for you for an additional fee.

If I book with SunandSalsa.com do I get all the member benefits?

When you book with SunandSalsa.com you will get the black VIP member wristbands when checking in. This will give you all of the VIP member benefits at the resort. To clear up a prevalent misconception, Palace Resorts policy is that NO Diamond member can transfer all the Diamond benefits unless they are traveling to the same resort at the same time as their guests. We are willing to travel to the same resort at the same time for groups of 7-9 couples. Please see our Free Upgrades webpage for more information about our upgraded benefits. Will I get the same promotions and discounts Palace Resorts frequently publishes online?

As Diamond members we get the best pricing available. We also get the same promotions offered to the general public. We also get additional members-only benefits at the resorts. The combination of best pricing, same promotions, and member benefits allows us to offer you the best deal.

Palace Resorts are all-inclusive. What does that mean?

Do I have to arrive on a certain day of the week and do I have to stay a minimum number of days?

You are free to arrive on whatever day of the week you would like based only on availability at the resort. We can book any stay 4 nights or longer. The best deals offered by the resorts, including additional benefits, are for 7-nights or longer.

Does SunandSalsa.com book airline flights?

We do not book airline reservations. You can usually get best pricing and selection on the airline websites.

What activities and amenities are available at Palace Resorts?

Which Palace Resorts are for families and which ones are for adults only?

Moon Palace Cancun, Moon Palace Jamaica Grande, Beach Palace Cancun, Playacar Palace, and Cozumel Palace are FAMILY resorts. Isla Mujeres Palace, Sun Palace, and Le Blanc Spa Resort are ADULTS ONLY resorts.

Since some Palace Resorts are fairly close to others can I stay at one resort and visit the others?

Yes, STAY IN ONE-PLAY IN SIX - At Palace Resorts, not only do you get an incredible vacation experience, but an opportunity to enjoy all their amazing properties. (*Stay in one play in six benefit excludes Le Blanc Spa Resort and Moon Palace Jamaica Grande. Transportation between resorts not provided with the exception of some transportation between Moon Palace Cancun and Beach Palace Cancun)

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations and No Shows 0-4 days prior to arrival - 1 night penalty. Up until 4 days prior to arrival No penalty.

Are passports required for travel to Palace Resorts?

All international arrivals via air to both Jamaica and Mexico require a valid passport from your country of origin. In the case of Jamaica, they require that your passport be valid when entering the country. Mexico requires that your passport be valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival date in Mexico (so plan accordingly). Check your passport expiration date now and renew as necessary.
